Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from the mixed race family of South London in England. The father of her is Nigerian and Swiss, while her mother is English. She was raised in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She earned her BA in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. As a student at the academy was when she performed in various stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actress through the film Storm Damage. Since then, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the following film, she was the lead in Elisha, the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in the six episodes of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a part of the 2008 Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. She also appeared on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe had her official US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was in the episodes in the series' initial two seasons as a regular. However, in May of 2013, it was announced that news broke that Madekwe will quit the show due to her guest appearance on the first episode of the series' third season. In the TV series Salem, she played Tituba in 2014 through the year 2016. Madekwe and her partner for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for a Gemini Award, is a member of an extensive Hamilton family. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty along with her older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's family, which is all sportsmen, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she danced. At age two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Ashley was a professional dancer across all major categories until the time she graduated from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap as well as pointe and Acrobatics. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
