Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actor who works on television, film and the theater. She's been an professional actor for the past 27 years. Her first stage appearance was in 1990 with an off-Broadway adaptation of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The following year, she got her first role on TV in The Perfect Tribute. In her early years she took up golf, and at the age of 12, she became the first woman to become eligible to compete in the US Women's Open. The event did not go to event, but she was able to win the Aldila Junior Classic in the same year to become the second. Along with being one of the youngest American Junior Golf Association, (AJGA) winner of the award that year and also being the youngest golfer to be awarded the Westfield Junior PGA Championship.
